General Council and Executive Council :
BDSC has an Executive Council that consists of 7 members like the following:
Chairman – 1
Vice Chairman – 1
General secretary/Execuitve Director – 1
Treasurer – 1
Member – 3
Members of the Executive Council are elected by the General Council members for two years while the General Council comprises of 21 members. Chairman, Vice-chairman and others of the Executive Council are selected by election for 2 years. However, the Executive Council is responsible for guiding and watching the activities of the organization. This council develops policy guideline at the organizational level.
Besides the General Council and Executive Council there is also another committee named Management Committee that includes the Executive Director, Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director. This committee is supported by Program Coordinator and Project Manager who are responsible to carry out all the activities of each of the individual project with the assistance of a group of technical program staff.
