Social Development is a broad term that describes actions that are taken to build positive outcomes and prevent negative social outcomes that can adversely affect a community. The aim of social development is to improve the availability of support systems in the community that preventnegative outcomes before they occur or buffer their impact. Social development program of BDSC has emphasis on the following components:
a) Social Awareness
b) Institution Building It is the process of bringing together all feasible and practical inter-sectoral social allies to raise people’s awareness of and demand for a particular development program, to assist in the delivery of resources and services and to strengthen community participation for sustainability and self-reliance.
